Welcome to Tech4Training

Greetings! Welcome to the inaugural post of my Tech4Training blog!

Today, I'll start with a little about me and my blog.

I'm Kayla. I like long walks on the beach and… kidding! I'm a supermom, career woman, college student. I love to train and instruct others, but I also love to learn! Hopefully this blog will be a little of each.

This is actually my first real blog. Back in the day, long before Facebook and even before MySpace, I had a Xanga page, which was kind of like a Facebook-MySpace-blog hybrid, but without all the selfies. But alas, I've never actually written a "real" blog, even though I've considered starting one many times. So, here goes nothing!

This blog is created for use in a college course, Instructional Tech in HRD. Most readers will likely be other students in the class, but if you happen to come across this blog and are not part of our class, I'm optimistic you'll still find something useful. This semester I'll be using this blog to explore new kinds of technology tools that can be used in HRD (Human Resource Development), specifically for training adults. Over the semester, I'm hoping to learn a ton about new technologies that will facilitate the professional trainings and meetings that I conduct at work.

Thanks for reading… and stay tuned to join me in learning about Tech4Training!

  1. Hi Kayla

It is nice to meet. We are in group one together and I am excited to be working with you. I really enjoyed both of your blog posts so far. I really appreciate the way you are letting your personality shine through with your words. You are completely correct in finding a way to bring your post alive it makes it fun to read and I want to know what you are going to write about next.

I think we are going to have a lot in common. I would also consider myself a supermom, career woman, college student and wow can it be a challenge to juggle all of it at once. I also enjoy training and well learning just makes me feel better about myself. I cant wait to read more posts from you.
