Put Infographics to Work with Piktochart
I've previosuly mentioned one of my new favorite tools, Piktochart, but I promised there would be more to come! Now, it's time to deliver.
Piktochart helps you make eye-catching infographics for FREE! These infographics are simple to create, but have a very professional, polished quality. The free version of Piktochart includes several template choices, but you also have the option to upgrade to a paid version for 600+ templates.
Whether you're a student or professional trainer, Piktochart can create stunning infographics to make your work stand out above the crowd.
In my workplace, e-mail is the main method of communication. On any given day, I might send and receive 100+ messages. I'm constantly using e-mail to communicate important guidance to our staff, but sometimes those communications can be drowned out by all the spam, busywork, and less relevant e-mails that are received each day.
Piktochart allows me to ensure that my message is heard. The visual appeal of the infographic draws the viewer in, so important messages won't be overlooked. I simply create my infographic in Piktochart, download my completed work, and insert into the body of e-mail. Depending on your content, the entire process can take as little as 15 minutes!
There are so many uses for infographics in today's work environment! Infographics like Piktochart can also be used to create polished handouts for training presentations or step-by-step instruction manuals. You'll save time versus creating your materials from scratch in Word or PowerPoint, and your colleagues, peers, or students will be impressed with professional quality. Even the folks in your Marketing department can put Piktochart to use!
Give it a try and let me know what you think! What additional uses can you find for Piktochart? How can Piktochart elevate your training program?

Kayla, I just love that you found this website and let us know about it. I visited piktochart the last time you blogged about it and I was amazed at how easy it was to make an infographic. I really like them because they point out the specific facts of your message and they don't consume a lot of time to read. I think they are great to hand out or send out after a training to just jog the learners memory about what they may have learned or to be used as a reference. Plus they look very professional. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteKayla,
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of pikochart before, but I am very interested to see the different ways that I can work with the program. I always love learning about new programs. I have always been a huge fan of PowerPoint,so I am excited to try out pikochart and do some comparison. Thanks for sharing.
